Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "Subscriber") and Jude Bowers, doing business as Saltly Leads ("Saltly," "Saltly Leads," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Saltly Leads website, application, and services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Saltly Leads provides a curated database of business listings, filtered by service-opportunity category (for example, businesses without a website, without paid social advertising, or without an AI phone receptionist). The Service displays opportunity information on a map and allows you to spend credits to reveal a business's identifying details and contact information.
We compile listing data from publicly available sources and review it for accuracy. We do not guarantee that any listing is complete, current, or error-free. See Section 8 (Data and No Guarantee).
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for business and professional use only.
You are responsible for: (a) providing accurate registration information; (b) keeping your login credentials confidential; and (c) all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hi@saltlyleads.com of any unauthorized use.
3. Subscriptions, Credits, and Billing
Subscriptions. The Service is offered through paid subscription plans, each including a monthly allotment of credits. Plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Credits. Credits are the unit you spend to reveal a lead's contact details and to use certain features (such as advanced filters or bulk export). The number of credits required for each action is shown in the Service and may change over time.
How credits work:
- Credits are granted when a payment succeeds (on subscription, renewal, or one-time purchase).
- Credits accumulate in your account — unused credits are not wiped at renewal.
- Credits expire six (6) months after the date they are granted.
- Credits can only be spent while you have an active, paid subscription. If your subscription lapses or is cancelled, unspent credits are retained but frozen (unusable) until you resubscribe, subject to the expiration above.
- Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are non-refundable except as expressly stated in Section 4.
Plan changes. If you upgrade, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period and receive the new plan's credits. We modify your existing subscription rather than creating a second one, so you are not double-billed. If you downgrade, the change and the lower credit allotment take effect at your next renewal.
One-time credit purchases. You may purchase additional credit packs as one-time, non-refundable purchases. These credits are added to your accumulating balance and are subject to the same expiration and usage rules.
Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details. Your use of payment features is also subject to Stripe's terms.
Taxes. Prices do not include taxes unless stated. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation. Subscriptions are month-to-month with no long-term commitment. You may cancel at any time; your subscription remains active through the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again after that.
No general refunds. Except as stated below, all payments and credit purchases are final and non-refundable, including for partial billing periods or unused credits.
Inaccurate-lead credit. If a revealed lead's contact information is materially inaccurate (for example, a disconnected number or a business that has permanently closed), notify us with the lead identifier and we will, at our discretion, credit the corresponding amount back to your account. This credit-back is your sole and exclusive remedy for inaccurate data.
5. Acceptable Use
You may use revealed leads solely for your own legitimate business outreach. You may not, and may not permit any third party to:
- resell, sublicense, redistribute, publish, or share the data or leads obtained from the Service, or use them to build, populate, or improve any competing or derivative database or product;
- scrape, crawl, harvest, or use automated means to extract data from the Service, or circumvent any access, credit, or reveal mechanism;
- share, resell, or provide access to your account, or exceed the credit allotment of your plan through any workaround;
- use the Service or any data from it for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that violates the rights of others;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying data structure of the Service;
- introduce malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or interfere with the Service's operation or security.
Your responsibility for outreach compliance. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your contact with any business or individual obtained through the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CAN-SPAM Act, state telemarketing and "Do Not Call" laws, and any applicable wireless, fax, or email marketing rules. Saltly provides data only; it does not advise on, and is not responsible for, how you contact leads. You are responsible for scrubbing against Do Not Call registries and obtaining any required consents.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and the compilation, selection, and arrangement of the listing database, is owned by Jude Bowers (d/b/a Saltly Leads) and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service and to use revealed leads for your own internal business outreach. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers (including, for example, payment processing, hosting, mapping, and data sources). We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or content of third parties, and your use of any third-party service may be subject to that party's own terms.
8. Data and No Guarantee
Listing data is compiled from publicly available sources and reviewed for accuracy on a best-effort basis. We do not warrant that any listing is accurate, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose. Business circumstances change (a business may obtain a website, change its phone number, or close) and data may become outdated. Your sole remedy for inaccurate revealed data is the credit-back described in Section 4.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE AND ALL DATA ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY LEAD WILL RESULT IN A SALE OR BUSINESS OUTCOME.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL JUDE BOWERS (D/B/A SALTLY LEADS) OR HIS EMPLOYEES OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Jude Bowers (d/b/a Saltly Leads) and his employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service or any data obtained from it; (b) your contact with or marketing to any business or individual, including any violation of the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, Do Not Call, or other applicable laws; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Service or others. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4, 6, 8–11, and 13) will survive.
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time as described in Section 4.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
